“Single Audits and other things that go bump in the night” *
*An attempt to bring a little humor into an otherwise amazingly dull subject.
Kerry Karam-Johnson, CPA, Favors Rettig CPAs
Our speaker Kerry will be dispelling the mystery of the Single
Audit by discussing how did it come about? What’s the purpose? And
most importantly; why would you need one (because it’s something you
wouldn’t volunteer for?)
How does the impact of Single Audit fit with all things accounting? On financial statements, internal control, grant management.
She will also discuss “the Circulars” and what do they mean along with current developments – such as the effect of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Overall this is meant to be an introduction to Single Audits with general information with an emphasis on non-profits.
Eligible for 1 hour of Technical CPE
RESERVATIONS DUE – Thursday, Sept. 9th by 5 PM
